This strange tree is another one hiding in Victoria park. It seems to be a tree stump from one tree and the foliage from another. Ive just checked google and it called an epiphyte tree, any plant that grows upon another plant or object merely for physical support. I suppose this happened in different forms throughout life, but seeing a physical manifestation of this union is always fascinating.
As for the park, i drew this on a damp day after Christmas. London is always quiet over the festive period, people head home to see family or head out of town for a short break and this translate to the park. So just the odd jogger trying desperately to mitigate the effects of the Christmas pudding, kids making the most of the outdoors space with their new battery powered scooters and dogs with new squeaky toys and collars looking very pleased with themselves.
