Lordship Road, Sketchbook Original Drawing

Freshly planted tree here, down on lordship road. The road is a long, straight and a wide avenue, with large Victorian houses on either side. Its seems to be an affluent area with the large houses broken down into expensive flats with the occasional book swap box attached to a front garden wall. I never really seemed to see any of the occupants of the houses whilst walking here, this added to size of the road gives me the feeling of a loneliness whenever I’ve been here. So the welcome sight of a new tree is quite a highlight. I’m not sure of the type of tree it is but on the trunk there is tag with one word printed on it which is the name Lee. So from now on i shall address this tree by its name whenever I’m passing and hopefully this will take the edge of the loneliness whilst strolling this road.
