This tree sits at the end of Sutton Place over looking the busy road of Homerton High Street. the tree is always impeccably trimmed and stands alone at the end of someones garden. When i walk past i always get the feeling that the tree is waiting and looking out for someone or something, who or what I'm not too sure, it could be waiting for someone from the past to bring it happiness or something from the future to break its suspended animation and allow it to live again. Whichever it is, it'll find the tree beautifully pruned and earnestly waiting for whatever comes its way.
Or i could be wrong and it’s waiting for a pizza.
